MS Word Tutorial # 2 (MS Word Window Interface)


Hello Everyone !


This is the second tutorial blog on MS Word Document, Here I will explain MS Word Window Interface and its important Parts.


When you start word document file so you get the following window

Here in the above picture as you can see there are multiple bar & option available so lets understand these option and bar one by one:

1. Quick Access Toolbar:


On the top left corner there is a tool bar appear which is known as Quick Access Toolbar, it display most frequent used command. We can customize it, in this toolbar we can add or remove most frequent used command as per our choice or usage.

Example:



    • Print Preview,
    • Quick Print,
    • Save, Undo,
    • Redo,
    • Draw Table,
    • Highlight,
    • Open File,
    • New File, etc.

      2. File Tab


      Just below the quick access toolbar there is a File Tab which is also called Backstage because its give us access to manage MS Word file.

      Example:

        • New Word File
        • Open Saved File,
        • Save,
        • Save As,
        • Info,
        • Print,
        • Share,
        • Close, etc.

          3. Ribbon Tab


          Ribbon Tab also located below quick access toolbar beside file tab. Ribbon Tab contains different tabs each tab have its own unique command.

          Example:

            • Home Tab,
            • Insert Tab,
            • Design Tab,
            • Layout Tab,
            • Refrences Tab,
            • Mailings Tab,
            • Review Tab &
            • View Tab.

              4. Ribbon


              Ribbon is bar which is located below the ribbon tab, it shows related group of command within specific tab. In ribbon each group name appear below the group.

              Example:

              In Home Tab there are different ribbon group that are:
                • Font,
                • Paragraph,
                • Styles &
                • Clipboard.
                  In Insert Tab
                    • Pages,
                    • Tables,
                    • Illustrations,
                    • Add-ins,
                    • Media,
                    • Links,
                    • Comments,
                    • Header & Footer,
                    • Text &
                    • Symbols.
                      In Design Tab
                        • Document Formatting &
                        • Page Background .
                          In Layout Tab
                            • Page Setup,
                            • Paragraph &
                            • Arrange.

                                              5. Title Bar


                                              Title bar is a bar which is located in the middle at the top of the window, It shows the name of a file and program.

                                              Example

                                              In the aforementioned picture Document1 is a name of a file & word is a software name.

                                              6. Helping Bar or Search Bar or Tell Me Box


                                              It is a new feature tell me what you want a do by it you can find anything without going for it just simply type words or phrases then list will appear of command then select your desire option.

                                              7. Window Control Button or Option

                                              This is basic option which is used for quickly operate any window, The first Button is for minimize the window, second button for maximize the window and third button for close the window.

                                              8. Horizontal Scale or Ruler

                                              It is a bar which is appeared at the top of the document area which shows inch scale. It is use for align text, table, graph, pictures, etc.

                                              9. Vertical Scale or Ruler


                                              It is a bar which is appeared at the left side of the document area which also shows inch scale. It is also use for align text, table, graph, pictures, etc.

                                              10. Document Area


                                              Document Area is blank area which is use for typing anything, it is use for typing text, explain table, graph, picture, etc.

                                              11. Status Bar

                                              Status bar is located below at left corner of the page. It is very important it gives you information regarding whole document.

                                              Example

                                                • How many page are there in the document also tell you in which page you are currentlyy working.
                                                • How words are there in the documents.
                                                • How many error are there in the document like spelling mistake and others mistake.

                                                  12. View Option


                                                  MS Word Gives you different option of layout, it is located below right side beside zoom bar.

                                                  Example

                                                    • First one is Read Mode when you click on it then you document will be appear in column design layout. It is use for remove distraction while reading a document and making small changes in it.
                                                    • Second is Print Layout, it show what your document will look when you print it, most of the user use this view because it exactly print output to you.
                                                    • Third is Web Layout, it show what your document will look when you if you upload it online website.

                                                      13. Zoom Bar



                                                      Zoom bar is located blow in the right corner, it is use for zoom in or zoom out your document and focus on particular area of the document.

                                                      Get New Currency / Fresh Notes On this Eid

                                                      Hello Every!

                                                      Today I am going to discuss about how you can get new currency notes on this Eid-ul-Fitr. Like every year, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced about new currency (fresh note) policy. As per SBP this year New Currency note will be issue from 20th May 2019 to 31st May 2019. For getting new currency notes you have to send a SMS to 8877. Procedure of SMS detail are mentioned bellow:

                                                      Step by Step Procedure:

                                                      1. Go to Messaging
                                                      1. Then create New Message

                                                      3. Then type your (13 Digit CNIC No.) then give (Space) then type (Branch Code)
                                                        • Example 12345-6789012-3 KHI123
                                                           
                                                          4. Then Send it 8877.
                                                              5.Then you  will receive a SMS in which following things will be mentioned:
                                                        • 1st one is your Transaction Code.
                                                        • 2nd is your Branch Address.
                                                        • 3rd is your Transaction  Period Date.
                                                              6. Go to that branch within the transaction period along with original NIC (National ID Card) and show them your transaction code which you received via SMS. After this you will get your money from bank.

                                                        MS Tutorial # 1 (How to Open a Word Document File)

                                                        Hello Everyone !

                                                        MS Word is most simple and common application that are widely used for writing letters, brochures, learning activities, tests, quizzes and homework assignments, etc. all over the world. It made content writing job very easy. Today almost all content writing work, official document and letter are written by MS Word application.

                                                        This is the first tutorial blog on MS Word Document, Here I start with initial level from scratch, that is reason we start with how to open a MS Word file, there are multiple ways through which you can open a word document file so let see one by one these Method:

                                                        Method # 1

                                                        1. Right click on Start Button
                                                          
                                                        2. Then simply type word on it 

                                                        3. Left click on it then select Blank Document

                                                        4. Your Word File Open 


                                                        Method # 2

                                                        1. Right click on Start Button

                                                         2. Then again simply type word on it 

                                                         3. Then right click on word document icon here you see Pin to Start option or Pin to Taskbar Option

                                                        4. If you left click on Pin to Start so it will appear on Start Menu or if you select pin to task bar so it will appear n task bar

                                                         5. Left click on Word Icon then select Blank Document


                                                         6. Your Word File Open 


                                                        Method # 3

                                                         1. Go to any Folder where you want to Save your Word Document File then Click Right Mouse Button



                                                         2. Go to any New then select Word Document File then Click Left Mouse Button

                                                        3. After Left click Your Word File Open

                                                        As you all know that nowadays MS Office is one of the most sophisticated Software which are most frequently used in almost every Office, Home, University, school, etc. But here in this blog I will describe top 4 MS Office application in 2019.
